Bio
Jon Kingsley Hall is a classically trained organist composer and record producer, graduating from the Royal College of Music in 1980. He has over twenty years experience in music production, songwriting and remixing built on a successful live career in the 80s as alternative electronic band Kissing the Pink and as drum and bass producer JHQ in the 90s.
Artists Jon has worked with include Xpress2, Candy Dulfer, U2, KKlass, Paul Oakenfold, Aswad, Kosheen, The Shamen, Olive and The Puppini Sisters. Jon has been instrumental in generating careers, sculpting hit records and lending his atmospheric soundtracks to film and adverts.
Jon composes using a diverse range of musical genres including choral and classical music as well as electronic production styles – in some instances combining both giving a rare and unique sound. This combination of classical training and knowledge of digital sampling technology and electronic programming gives artists and clients access to a seemless interface between their creativity and its execution musically and technologically.
